Art is my way of understanding the world. It is my own filter, with different keys to understanding, through which I pass everything I feel, see, hear, live, believe or want. It is my way of adapting to the world and adapting the world to me.

Born in Târgu Jiu in 1987. Graduated from “Constantin Brâncuși” University, Fine and Decorative Arts section, with a degree from the Faculty of Arts and Design of the West University of Timișoara, graduated from the “Constantin Brăiloiu” Art High School and, during her pre-school period, from the Popular Art School, both in Târgu Jiu. She has been presenting her paintings, graphics and installations in several cities in the country (Târgu Jiu, Petroșani, Timișoara, București, Mediaș, Satu Mare, Abrud etc.) since her high school years. Solo exhibitions in several cities in the country. Works in private collections in the country and abroad. From December 2011 to September 2012 – manager of Galateea Gallery in Bucharest, the first contemporary ceramics gallery in the country. Initiated, together with Cristina Cioplea, the exhibition project “EGOgrafie”, which brought together several hundred Romanian artists in the city of Brâncuși for ten years. Since 2016 she has been a museographer at the Art Museum of Targu Jiu, a section of the Gorj County Museum “Alexandru Ștefulescu”, where she takes care of the museum collection and organizes and curates dozens of exhibitions every year. Cultural journalist since 2007 for various publications and since 2011 for AgențiadeCarte.ro. Co-founder of the Umur brand – painting and textile printing workshop. Most recent solo exhibition, “The night grows me a clean skin”, took place from December 2022 to January 2023, in Târgu Jiu.
