I graduated in Bucharest, at National University of Arts, sculpture section, 2007 promotion, following a master’s degree, also in sculpture, completed in 2009.
My creations come from the figurative area, artists like Michelangelo and Rodin motivate me, I often find inspiration observing the tensions of the human body, the dialogue between carnal and emotion attracts me.
For me, the anatomy of the body is only a pretext for transmitting an idea of ​an emotion by exaggerating certain anatomical elements, muscle groups or positions in favor of expression.
I believe that works of art must last over time, not only as an artistic value, but also as a material, so I consider that bronze and stone are the most suitable for my works. I am looking to achieve monumentality, both in the interior works, of small dimensions, as well as in the exterior works that are being built on large dimensions. I have created public monuments, both in the country and abroad. For me, a masterpiece of sculpture is distinguished by, its continuous story of beauty, giving shape to the truths that appear, year after year, in a conversation with its spectators
