I work with the minimalist geometry of the circle and all that its symbolism implies: the return to the origins, to the beginnings, to the cell, to the egg. I present to the viewer a retrospective of rebirth, of renewal and birth, of primordial time and present time, the aim being to convey emotion and conceptual balance to the viewing public and to sensitize them. We all have time to stop for a second and observe, we can all stop time in place to balance and be reborn. It’s not tomorrow it’s today and that’s when I try to hang their gaze for a moment in my universe. You die in each moment and are reborn in the next, a concept about life and death, the fear of death, the fear of the unknown. Life and death are not different things, they are the same phenomenon. The minimalism of the two phenomena transpose them simply, geometrically, in black and white, in two planes in a universe of Yin and Yang. In fact, it’s this balance I’m after!
