I have always appreciated true masters, a feeling instilled by PAUL GHERASIM (1925-2016), founder of the Prolog group, a prominent member of the Union of Fine Artists of Romania, a complex man of culture, since 2004 I had the honor to be his mentor and tutor. Art for me means life, light, empathy. Maybe that’s why I was able to switch from religious to abstract art during the recent pandemic! About the first part of a classic artist’s CV, I can write “admitted by competition”: full member of the Union of Fine Artists of Romania, in the AFAPRR branch: Association of Religious Fine Arts and Restoration Branch of the Romanian UAP; 4 solo exhibitions with religious art (2001, 2003, 2004 – ArTei Gallery; 2007 – Galateea Gallery), organized by the Union of Romanian Fine Artists in the mentioned galleries in Bucharest; then 2008 at Silva Gallery, 2019 at Sabion Galleries (together with Cristina Georgescu); numerous participations in Romania, since 1998, in group and collective exhibitions, among which the pearl of the crown is the most important annual event organized by the Union of Romanian Fine Artists: SNAC- National Salon of Contemporary Art, as selected artist at SNAC-Centenary 2018 in the decorative arts section, SNAC 2020 (here curator, too), SNAC 2021 and SNAC 2022 in the religious art section.
